I met this cute little family near their family farm late this summer for these fun photos. Big brother loves to fish and little brother was busy watching and learning how it’s done.

This was such a fun wedding. My husband (aka: second shooter for the day) and I drove to Arizona for the weekend to hang out with friends and photograph the wedding of Mike & Katie.

I first met Katie for the first time on the morning of her wedding while she gathered with her bridesmaids to prepare for the day. She immediately made me feel like I was a part of the wedding party. Completely welcoming.  The guys were no different as I met up with them later to get a few shots of them getting ready. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer, more relaxed couple to work with.

Mike and Katie, I hope we get to hang out again soon! Thanks for inviting us to be a part of your wedding.

Come back tomorrow for Part Two when I will post photos from the ceremony and reception.

Mike and their adorable baby.

Thanks for a fun afternoon guys, even though we were freezing, you guys were great sports!  I’m  hoping I get to photograph them on a regular basis, not just for the baked goodies Rachelle makes and spoils me with every year but of course, great company! Thanks guys!

I spent an afternoon with this cute little family of four back in early December.  We agreed to take the short drive up to Rockville and the ghost town of Grafton to capture these fun family photos. By the end of our time together I had made two new little friends and had a lot of fun getting to know everyone better. They are seriously such a sweet family and I loved that they were so excited to have their photos taken. I’m also really happy they didn’t mind gettin’ a little dirty since it had rained recently. I love how they kept looking back at me, wondering if I was comin’ along too…so cute!

My 2 new friends…seriously, I even got invited to go pick out Christmas trees with Little D the big brother :)

Love this one of mom and dad…

I’m so behind on posting photo sessions on my blog! I can’t believe the year is almost over. I will be posting a lot of sessions before then though and I’m starting with photos of this gorgeous girl. Loved taking these!

We took these back in the beginning of November, so I’m pretty happy to finally be posting a few of them.  I’ve known Susie since working together back at our local TV news station. She was awesome to work with then and it was great to catch up again. We had been talking about doing this photo session for quite awhile so I was so happy we were finally able to make it happen.  I had such a good time capturing these fun photos of her. Thanks Susi! You’re the best!

Love those eyes!
