Between moving to a new area (Northern Arizona), starting a new job and everything else that goes along with that, I have been neglecting my blog lately. So I thought I’d post just a few photos of this handsome little man taken earlier this summer. I’m lucky enough to get to hang out with this little guy and his family for yearly photos and I think he had fun feeding the ducks and throwing rocks in the pond during his photo session.

Mike and Katie had a beautiful backyard May wedding. The whole day was calm, relaxing and full of love and laughter. These two are meant for each other, you could feel it, just being around them. I felt honored to have been invited to capture their day.

Here is the best man, maid of honor and Mike & Katie’s sweet baby.

Katie looked amazing in this dress and I definitely think Mike thought so too!

Mike & Katie’s Wedding (Part 1)

This was such a fun wedding. My husband (aka: second shooter for the day) and I drove to Arizona for the weekend to hang out with friends and photograph the wedding of Mike & Katie.

I first met Katie for the first time on the morning of her wedding while she gathered with her bridesmaids to prepare for the day. She immediately made me feel like I was a part of the wedding party. Completely welcoming. The guys were no different as I met up with them later to get a few shots of them getting ready. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer, more relaxed couple to work with.

Mike and Katie, I hope we get to hang out again soon! Thanks for inviting us to be a part of your wedding.

This is my first boudoir shoot and I couldn’t be happier that it was with this gorgeous mama and wife. She was so fun to work with. These are just a few photos that she so graciously allowed me to post here. After her photo session we created a fun calendar of all her sexy photos for her husband to open up on Christmas. I’ve had the opportunity to be this family’s photographer and friend over the past couple years and they are some of my favorite people. Seriously, such a sweet little family. I really enjoy meeting new clients and making new friends but it also means a lot when you’re friends support your photographic efforts and come to you for their photos, even when you’re just starting out. These two braved a rainy, cold day to have these photos taken. We weren’t sure if we would have to postpone their session due to weather but fortunately we got a little break in the rain and just enough time to capture these. Thanks for a fun afternoon guys, even though we were freezing, you guys were great sports! I’m hoping I get to photograph them on a regular basis, not just for the baked goodies Rachelle makes and spoils me with every year but of course, great company! Thanks guys!

I can’t believe how fast this little man has grown. It doesn’t seem like that long ago that we were capturing these. He was a total sweetheart during this entire session even though it was a chilly December day. Unfortunately Baby T’s dad had to go out of town at the last minute so he wasn’t able to be there for this photo session but I’m looking forward to capturing the whole family’s photos soon.

I love his cute little hat. It was perfect for a chilly day outside.
